I love working with the many unique people I meet every day. I enjoy the challenges that each day presents, whether I’m helping patients achieve and exceed their oral health goals, giving them a beautiful smile, or simply getting them out of discomfort. It all makes me grateful to have chosen such a rewarding career.
My career in dentistry began while I was still in high school. I worked as a dental assistant for a pediatric dentist, and after high school, attended Portland State University for my undergraduate education. To fulfill my desire to become a dentist, I attended Northwestern University Dental School, and finished in 1995 with my Doctorate of Dental Surgery.
Dentistry is an ever-evolving profession: There are new advances in dentistry practically every day. By taking the latest courses and seminars, I am able to provide patients with the latest dental care.
I grew up in Portland and now reside in Happy Valley with my wife and our three wonderful sons. I spend my free time relaxing with family, playing tennis, running, and working out. I’ve even run two marathons!
